Calm Before the Storm

My complex required that we remove everything from our patios tonight.  As I was outside clearing off my space, I noticed how beautiful the sky was.  This is God's Creation... this must be the calm before the storm. 

 He looks really concerned doesn't he???  I couldn't resist adding this one in...

Earthquakepocalypse- Great Falls

So today was my friend Kimberly's birthday.  We spent the day at Great Falls.  So there we are sitting on a rock, overlooking the falls when the earth starts shaking.  It just so happened to coincide with a big gust of wind, so at first we thought the wind was making the rock move (yeah, we're geniuses I tell you).  Afterwards I started moving my butt back and forth trying to make the rock move and it didn't, so I was thinking... there's no way wind did that.  A few minutes later my mom called to check on me after the "earthquake".  Only then did we put two and two together and realized what had happened.   Where were you when the earth shook?

Bachelorette Party- Celebrating Kathleen

Kathleen and I first met in 2008 when we went on a mission trip together to Ethiopia.  She is one of the most genuine people I know and I am thrilled for her and her upcoming nuptials.  We celebrated her today by going to a few vineyards and we had a blast.  A big congratulations goes out to the beautiful future Mrs. King! XOXO

Engagement Session- Ava and Todd

Holy Smokes!  I think Ava and Todd might be one of the HOTTEST couples I know!  I tried to narrow down the photos for this blog post but it was just too hard, there were so many that I loved.  Thank you Ava and Todd for the honor of letting me be apart of your story and allowing me to photograph you.  Today was so much fun!  I can't wait to shoot your wedding!

Toddler Photo Shoot- N.W.

One thing I learned during my shoot today... toddlers are a moving target... ALL THE TIME!  I went into this photo shoot with a plan to get all these different poses and angles!  WRONG!  It was more like, snap, snap, snap... and hope some turn out.  I definitely need more practice photographing the wee little ones, but all in all, I'm happy with the way a lot of these photos turned out.  And N.W. is so cute... it's hard for him to take a bad photo... don't you agree?
