Stephen and Krystina's VA Wedding Reception

I have had the honor of photographing Stephen and Krystina before.  You might remember them from their "Just Because" session a while back.  They got married in California a few months ago and just recently had a wedding reception here in Virginia and I loved the fact that they asked me to capture this special occasion for them.  Photographing these guys are so easy because they are so natural and you can easily see how in love they are, nothing ever seems forced, it's all organic.  I hope you enjoy these photos and I hope Stephen and Krystina will cherish them for years to come.

Baby Reagan 9 mo session

I can't believe Baby Reagan is 9 months and I really can't believe that her next session in October, she will be a year old.  Reagan is the happiest, sweetest, cutest baby ever and every time I see her, I swear she gets cuter.  She's also got a ton of personality... she loves everyone and basically knocks them out with that smile of hers.  Anyway, enjoy these photos.

Martha and Paul: Just Because Session- Centreville, VA

My friend Martha contacted me a few weeks back asking me to do a "Just Because" session with her and her boyfriend.  Paul will be leaving in a week to go overseas for two years and she thought it would be nice to have some good photos of them together to cherish while he is away.  We took the photos at Northern Virginia's newest vineyard, The Winery at Bull Run.  Since I work there part time, I told them that they can claim being the first photo shoot done there!  Yep... that's right!  :)

Girl Empowerment Shoot

Well it's been a while friends!  But summer is upon us and that means my photography season is speeding up a bit.  I had the opportunity not long ago to do a "girl empowerment" session with a friend of mine.  She had spinal surgery almost 15 years ago and has a young cousin that will be having the same surgery soon.  So she wanted to do a black and white shoot of her scar to not only empower her but also her cousin.

Baby Reagan- 6 mo session

It's been a while since I last blogged.  Believe me this post will be worth the wait.  Here's is baby Reagan's 6 mo. session.  You can look back at her newborn and 3 mo. session.  I told her Mommy that she gets more and more beautiful every time I see her.  I hope her Daddy has a shot gun, because she's going to be a heart breaker.  Just you wait! 

Baby Charlee Newborn Session

I've always said I know nothing about babies, I'm awkward when I hold them, I don't know what to do when they start crying, it's actually pathetic.  I joke about one day being the worst mother in the world...  Luckily for me, a lot of my friends are having babies and I'm getting some practice, so when one day on the 12th of never, when that day comes for me, I won't be completely clueless.

Anyway, on to the beautiful baby you are about to see.  Her name is Charlee and I'm a friend and former co-worker of her mommy.  She was exactly one month old on Friday, so what better way to commemorate such a milestone than with some photos.  Enjoy.
