Marc and Katie- Haymarket Engagement Photographer

Marc and Katie seriously couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day for their session.  We headed down to Haymarket and went to La Grange Winery.  It was so gorgeous!  The fall leaves were at peak, it had wide open spaces and was pet friendly (so Othello) could get in a few pics.  Marc and I were scheming that morning, to work out the details for a special surprise he had for Katie.

 And here it is... no, this isn't a stagged photo.  Marc originally proposed to Katie a few weeks ago with his mother's original engagement ring.  They decided to pick a new setting for the diamond and Marc wanted to surprise Katie with her ring by proposing again.  He had told Katie that he had picked up the ring but left it in his car and I think she bought it.  I think Marc really pulled it off and the look on Katie's face was priceless!

Marc and Katie, thank you for letting me do your engagement photos.  I love you both and wish you nothing but happiness in the future!
